Southford Falls Pond Description

Southford Falls Pond is located in Southford Falls State Park. The most common fish species are sunfish, bluegill, pumpkinseed, brook trout, and largemouth bass. Rarer fish include sucker, bullhead catfish, and chain pickerel. Only open during trout season an parking is unavailable during the fall and winter, only walk-in access is available. Trout creel limit is two fish per person, however consumption of fish is not suggested (due to PCB's).
