From the Shepaug Dam to the Stevenson Dam


LAKE ZOAR, Monroe-Oxford-Newton-Southbury (909 acres) From the Shepaug Dam to the Stevenson Dam. Species: (SMB WP LMB CB WC S YP) Other: 45 mph speed limit daytime, 25 mph from 1/2 hour after sunset to 1/2 hour before sunrise. The boat ramp has parking for 60 cars with trailers. Portalets are provided during boating season. Contact the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection for information. Access: I-84 to Exit 14 (east side of the river), south on Lakeside Road, right on Scout Road at VFW Hall to ramp at end of road.
