are you shore biased or in a boat. Most shore fishing is very rough. Long pond is normally ok, the pond right next to long pond is very rough, lantern hill. Amos is good most of the time for a few fish but i have not had a knock out day there ever. Lake of the isles is good often when i go. I have only left empty handed once and that was a co-angler in the back of the boat and the guy in the front got 19. With the cold front coming out it will be even worse at most places, and i would recommend a river to help fight the cold front blues. I often use and watch the fishing report http://www.weather.com/outlook/recreation/outdoors/fishing/06340?from=fishing_welcome

is also a great idea to watch for a dropping pressure.

Going in the early morning and evening around the sun rise and set is always a better way to increase a chance at a catch.

The last thing to look at would be downsizing baits. Lately i have been doing well on 1/4 oz jigs and wacky rigging 5 inch worms. After the cold front passes you may want to try a 4 inch. The kanami baits sold at wally world in watermelon gold flake or red flake are great as well as green pumpkin pepper.

I have only been to that lake twice, but if you want to meet up drop me a pm for an evening trip and i will see if i can help out!!!
