Does anyone know what's going on down at the Lyman viaduct?? The family and I went for a walk on the Airline Trail yesterday and we crossed the viaduct. As we went over I looked down and saw a rather large area that had been cleared right up to the bank of the river. It looks like crews had extended the road and then finished with a cul-de-sac. The surface appeared to be graveled and there were a few machines left down there.

This is an older article. Can't say for sure, but this may have something to do with what you're seeing.

"...the pristine Salmon River." Rolling Eyes

Thanks for the link Pramsey. It is very possible that this is what is getting done. It sounds like a very large project and would need a big staging area.
