Moosehorne Pond Description

This attractive 62-acre pond is located in Hubbardston. Access is provided by a gated public ramp off Hubbardston Road. Only cartop boats and canoes can be launched here. Shore access is available in the area of the ramp and off the railroad track on the east side of the pond.
The average depth of this shallow pond is five feet with the deepest section about eight feet. Aquatic plants are common around the entire perimeter. The northern section of the pond is a bog with floating islands and typical bog type vegetation.
