TIME- 12 noon sunday june 24 2007
went to long sand shoal drifting. cought 10+ fluke each let most go except for 2 size was ranging from 15in all the way to 25in,also was hitting a couple of blues ranging from 17 all the way to 26, very few skate but there were a few
BAIT- 3in squid strips with 1 whole smelt per hook.Rig the squid with one pass of the hook through the end of the squid as a teaser hook the smelt through bolth eyes and you all set.
TACKLE- 2ft 30lb mono leader 1 size 5 ococtpus hook at end of leader 1 size 6 ococtpus hook half way up with a 3in leader off the middle one swivle at the top tied to rod with a fish finder on the line with a size 6 weight . rig the squid with one pass of the hook through the end of the squid as a teaser hook the smelt through bolth eyes and you all set.
FISHING-drift fishing example if the depth is 30ft put 50 to 60 ft of line out while bouncing bait off bottom every 1 to 2 min .FISH ON

I will be heading out Saturday in the AM with my father to try some Flukin at Long Sand. Then we will move to Blacks in Hen and Chickens
Will update on the fishing
