Bigoutdoors and myself met at the ramp at 5:30 and due to the fog stayed close to shore. An old timer told us he was getting keepers all week, so we felt hopeful. Made our way up to Norwich harbor and worked it down as well. Had one schoolie slash my sluggo, but that was all until we saw breaking fish on the way back. Worked our way in and Tom threw a snag hook. Tom pulls in his striper and he's so excited the fish is creaming all over my boat. No hits and now I have carp *&^ on my boat. Glad we didn't go to barn as I would have sat there forever. It will be my next stop next week. And I'm sure I'll hear that I should have been there yesterday.
