Hit the Northern half of Saugatuck along 57 in my favorite pool. Only manged 2 9-11 inches but were jumping all over the place. I know the fish are there but don;t know what to use to get them. Caught mine on nightcrawlers. Next we headed to Weston way below the dam in a spot I never tried before. Managed 2 Browns and rainbows 11-12inches. I released them all then got yelled at because I didn't realise that it was a fly fishing area only. Not going back there again for a while. Here;s a note: that river is loaded with trout and were jumping all over the place. Tried the reservoir with no luck. Tried Pootatuck in Sandy Hook as well. All together a managed to land 11 trout Very Happy . This made my day considering I was soaked in the pooring rain. Let me know if any body has any tips on how to catch these trout that won't bite. I threw live bait, lewers and everything but only a few were caught on worms. Thanks.
