2 weeks ago the water temp was 46 degrees and now it's 61. The main river temp is 55 degrees. I'm seeing alot of Largemouth here and they are moving into the shallows. Last night in the dark I fished with a 4 inch floating jointed Rapala and cought about 6 bass in the 2-4 pound range!! I've always enjoyed night fishing as the action can be tramendous! I always have my plyers and a flashlight and all the fish were quickly released.

Ol jeepin been off the radar for a while now, may have moved on to greener pastures. If I'm not mistaken, I thought he was fishing at his marina in the Haddam area, I know it was a ways south of Hartford

ah, I should have guessed...I've heard positive reports from that area in general...I don't have a boat, so I'm looking for something decent from the shore on the river.
