Channel Cat

I got this Channel Cat while using sand worms around noon today while fishing in the main channel in about 40 feet of water. it measured over 2 feet and is laying in my inflatable. I was amazed at the size as white cats are much bigger!

Hey Diggadave, I got it in the CT River. They are fun to catch and can get very large too. Any "meaty" bait, alive or dead works best.

Nice catfish, That river does hold some nice ones. my biggest is 8 lbs, but a buddy of mine got one 12lbs.We caught them at night up river from the bissell bridge.
