If I wanted a big Northern Pike, would I go to Quaddick or Hopeville?

I've caught Pike in Pachaug, Hopeville and Ashland, none were record setters, but I did keep one for cooking!

Bantam is closed until the end of april for pike fishing as are some of the other pike lakes. CT river is open all year round.

I heard about a couple of 20+ pounders out of Pachaug Pond last year. Open water, not ice.

I'd have to say from numerous reports ive read that patchaug is by far the best bet for both quantity and quality pike. quaddick and Mansfield have some, but most reports i've seen from people fishing for pike there didn't show great results. If you do a search for patchaug on the CT iceshanty website you will see pics of manny nice pike Wink
