| Myself, SkipperJ9 and The Shark, jumped in my boat and we hit the CT river North from Windsor up to the train trestle, throwing mostly small plastics on jig heads, in hopes of finding some schoolies or smallies, nothing doing. The water averaged 36 degrees, was a bit muddy and cranking. There was quite a bit of debris in the water and saw one very large tree float by. |

Simply working out the kinks after a long winter of chasing cod, which I'm afraid will be winding down, for Block Island anyway.
We all new our chances were slim to none, just wanted to get out there.
Possible Thames run tomorrow, our chances should be much better |
