Pickerel lake still active?

Haven't been there in many years, used to be good for Bass. Anyone still fish there? In Colchester ct

I visited this spot about 2 weeks ago and fished for about an hour. I picked off about 10 Bluegill before i got a 1.5lb largemouth....I will probably go back sometime soon.

Fishing from shore or land? I have never fished there but I like the name so I was thinking about taking a trip there.
