I have seen the pictures from the HellCat and it makes me want to join them. I am sure I will do that one day soon.

Can someone tell me the party boat that is closest to Redding Ct? I went on one in Norwalk once, but I can't remember the name and I don't think they have a website. We fished for porgies and it was fun, but I would love to catch something with some more meat on it.

I am a salt water novice, so where is the best place to go in April and May and what should I hope to catch?

Thanks
Scott

Scott, if you dont mind a drive go north to either Walshs American Classic,Lynn,Mass. or to Eastmans, right before you go over the bridge into Hampton Beach. There are several others also. Both of the ones I mentioned have websites.Cod,haddock, pollock mostly.

I agree with tbob, he and I have fished both the American Classic
and Eastman's and have done quite well. Both are excellent boats.
We have been fishing around this area for some time and have those two boats have an excellent reputation.
The Hel-Cat has it's advantages being local, but the drive to the other two boats can be well worth it.
