Friend of my father's asked me to haul an old canoe out of his back yard. Says he hasn't used it in 30 - 40 years and wanted it gone.
Found it laying on 2 old 4x4s next to his shed. So oxidized it was pure white. It is a Lincoln fiberglass canoe with wicker seats. Seems to be in pretty good shape except for some minor cracks in gelcoat and one small hole. Started buffing with compound and it has a nice deep shade of red. No idea how old it really is, but my 5 year old nephew will love going out in it. He and I are both getting too big to fit in my kayak together. gotta love a free find! |
