Need new places to fish!

I live in newington and i fish mostly catfish and bass. Any places within 20 minutes of newington that i could fish from shore and catch some bass with a top water lure? Thanks Very Happy

Silver lake in berlin has cats and bass and some shore access

Yeah ive been there a few time only to catch tiny sunfish. I dont know how to fish that lake with all the weeds!! Shocked

should be less weeds right now. nightcrawlers on the bottom, or minnows for some channel cats
