Because of some boat troubles I never made it out to Long Sand shole but we drifted around the break water at the mouth of the river. We started about an hour before slack tide, first drift we landed 4 and 2 keepers a 24in and 19in, 2nd drift all over by Old lyme side, 2nd drift total of 6 and 1 scate 2 were keepers both around 22in

Does anyone know a good outboard mech, I have no top end on a Johnson 60hp. It runs good at low RPM but over 1500 it boogs out.

Atlantic Outboard in Westbrook and Reynolds in Old Lyme have good reputations. Great report on the river.
