Legislators & Sportsmen's FEE Meeting @ Cabelas, E. Hartford

TO LEGISLATORS -
Purpose of the meeting is to:
i. Introduce you to us as a constituent group - our clubs, our interests,
our activities in support of Ct citizens/outdoor resources
ii. Educate you on our issues and specific concerns around licensing fees
and revenue distribution (via General Fund)
iii. Engage you in dialogue to gain your support for fee restructuring and re-establishment of the user pay model that has worked well for 100 years.
TO SPORTSMEN
i. Introduce our friends in the Legislature.
ii. Provide forum for discussion with elected officials
iii. Introduce grass roots efforts, strategies, County Captains
This meeting is not a gripe session. Our major concern is how we, both sportsmen and legislators, can rectify the outrageous fees affecting various activities, e.g., business, tourism, wildlife/fisheries management and others. All are welcome.
