Hit Pachaug pond today

After the rain stopped, the boys and I nixed the idea of going down to the sound, and settled for Pachaug. We started out in a cove, and got nothing. We opted to drift a bank of 5ft water. When wham!!! My oldest hooked about a 3 to 3.5 Northern. We anchored right after, and got no hits. So we decided to do some trolling. After a wile, my oldest got a very nice "what I think is a"Black Crappie. My youngest was feeling kinda down, so his brother kept his lure out of the water. Three or four passes later, my youngest hooked a nice 2 foot Pike. Well I was at the wheel and was seeing no action, so we thew the anchor back in. We fished that same area were the two pike were caught, and got nothing. We sped up to the main part of the pond and fished the first cove. I finally hooked a decent 12 to 15 inch pickerel. All and all it was a good day.

Besides, all I saw was AFTER THE RAIN. The way this past weekend went, never noticed the date.
