Hey Josh, Welcome to the USA.
Can't be much help regarding the Scantic, don't really fish it myself.
You have to give these slow pokes on here more than a couple hours to respond though |

| Well...I just finished eating a yummy 13" rainbow trout that I caught in the Scantic river, just below Old Mill pond. Must say I am a little at odds with myself though. I was raised in South Africa,by my grandfather,to never catch trout with anything but on the fly. I used nightcrawler,so I wont tell him about this one..Still tasted so good. |

| Congrats Josh, visit a book store like Barnes and Noble and you will find many books about fishing in CT and beyond. |
