Hamburg Cove

Tried Hamburg Cove for white perch yesterday with no luck. Caught a few small yellow perch. Talked to another shore angler, he said his father caught a few small stripers from a boat. Anyone know when the white perch start running?

I would say any time now, maybe in the next month, good to hear the stripers are already here!

They are catching some white perch in Norwich harbor now so I'm told.

Generally speaking, they should start any time now in Hamburg cove, April 1st according to some notes I have SF.

Look's like I'm a little early. I'm giving searuns a try friday where Eightmile River runs into the cove. It looks like a good spot not alot of access but enough to fish. Thanks.
