Does anybody know what this years LMB record is. I just caught a 7 pound 11 oz. I haven't heard of any caught bigger this year. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Great job on catching that one .Don't know the record for this year.
Looking for one that size so I can take a picture to the taxidermist.
Keep on catching them.

I'm confused. You mean you dont bring the fish? I know how an animal is done but never was sure how a fish is done.

That site is cool. They make a replica of the fish from the picture?
Am I reading that right?

yep, you send the pic, and the measurements, and they make it. I'm not sure of the cost, but I'm sure it's pricey.!!!

That is so cool, ehertzfeld, Thanks! Now I know where all those fish came from that are on so many restaurant walls!

taxing a fish is in the ballpark of 15-20 bucks per inch often with a minimum of $200 plus!....im in pursuit of a nice largemouth to get my wall started!

i really need to get a good scale, i just started fishing again about 2yrs ago now and found a spot next to my parents house that i used to fish at when i was a kid and have caught 6 bass there 5 of them being almost as big as this guy. I am guessing 7-9lbs maybe bigger??
The second to last one i caught this season was caught with a sunfish that i already hooked.

wow!nice bass you got there!yup, you really need to get a scale cause pics can be very misleading and most of the time dont do justice to big fish!.....big dif between 7 and 9.....did you get a length on those????
