A group of us got together last nite to fish for eyes.Fished from 3:30 til about 8:30.We managed approx. a dozen between us.Nothing close to a keeper.Skipperj9 was high hook.My son and his buddy each got their first ever eye so that was kool.Along with the eyes we caught several perch and even one bullhead.

I thought you would have showed skipperj9 and your son how it's done.

Fished Sat Morning on the Ice at 5:30 My partner and I got into the perch. 25 jumbos by 9am.... 1 walleye about 15inch...Greta morning until the wind started.. Laughing

some tip-up action perch... I think id rather jig them it'd go quicker and there would be a lot less running around. Its nice every once in a while though if things have been slow, a nice shot of perch!

Fished Sat from 5:30 to 9:30. Caught 14 perch, 4 pickerel, and the dandy 20" brown trout. Best day on the Ice......Great weather.
My partner went back from 5:30 to 11:30pm and got into the walleye's. no keepers but still fun to catch.
