Considering buying the 006 Banjo minnow kit as followed from a friend for 15$ does it work?

i lost about a 5-6lb smallie due to the fact that it grabbed the minnow and not the hook. 1st and laast time i used it. i prefer slug go's

yea, they work, but like eddie said you don`t always hook them all. I have caught some very nice bass on them up to 4 pounds. They do look like real bait fish in the water.
