We took a ride out to Preston, as it had been awhile since we lost the axil there a few years ago. On the water at 7:30 and worked the weeds to the right of the launch. Picked up four bass on motoroil sencos, then nothing. By 11, I tried a bleedinshad rattle trap to get two more to the boat. Bob puts two more in at 12:30 with worms again, then a 24" Pike.  : Now who put that in there?? Someone playing DEP I guess. Nice for them with all the stocked trout. Blue bird skys and we still found some fish for the day in 2-10 ft. of water. Temp was 56. Lunker for the day was 3-12 |
