Question about fish finder

Hi, i just installed a new Lowrance mark5x pro on my boat, I can get the temp to read but the speed will not show up, i do a lot of trolling and knowing my correct speed is needed, thanks Nat

With the boat on the trailer, turn the unit on, and spin the wheel. If you get a reading, then you want to check the paddle wheel position. the axle should be about at the bottom of the boat.

Thanks for the tip, i just came back in from the boat, there is a very brief note on the web site that said i can only use one or the other of temp or the water speed ! it was just getting into the unit and doing a reprogram. now its working.
Btw the trout are hitting very nice on the old gray ghost about 15 ft down. Thanks again and tight lines
