Flukeing in R.I, Crabbing in C.T. Went out on the Gail Francis last week with my friends Mickey Spicer, Johnathon Spicer, & Frank, caught 4 keeper fluke, and had about 5 throw backs, also got about 10 skate, my buddy has 10 lobster traps so I saved him the racks from the Fluke and gave him all the skate, hopefully he gives me a few ster's.went crabbing last night and we got over 80 crab! Ice Fishing Have gone out Ice Fishing four times in 2010, Twice to Ashland pond and twice to Patchaug, small large mouth, large Calico Bass, small chain pickerel, out of Ashland. and a small large mouth, small Northen Pike out of Patchaug. all caught & released. It's not the same without my Buddy steve1(Stephen (Boo) Running! I'm trying to work a deal with the Black Hawk party boat out of Niantic, Ct to do a memorial, Take a kid fishing trip, the details & date have not been finalized. Tight lines! Ted Posted at 05:57 PM

FISH FREAKS BLOG Hi, Ted the Fish Freak here, First of all lets get this straight, I don't get Freaky with Fish!!!! I do love to Fish especially in nice weather, I'm a fair weather fisherman. I love Fluke Fishing in Ct, & R.I waters, I love making my own rigs and actually catching fish on them. My fovorite fishing is in Key West, Fla. I do mostly bottom fishing off party boatsCapt. Johns Greyhound V is the only party boat I fish off of, If for some reason they can't get out I save my money and go with them the next day. I'm not big on trolling around waiting for a Sail fish, I've been there and done that it's a lot of cash for what is mostly a long boat ride!!!!! Don't get me wrong I have chartered to go out for the day but I love bottom fishing and the action, you never know what your going to drag up, Sharks, Amberjacks, Mutton snappers, Groupers,etc. Ted Posted at 04:30 PM |
