Welcome to Dave Overstrom's Blog - Newest Site Addition

Well everyone, I have spent almost the entire morning adding a feature to the site that I think it was seriously lacking...blogging! Now you can have your own fishing blog to write stories, thoughts, articles or anything else you want to blog about.

Unlike the Chalkboard feature, which is focused on writing misc notes and reminders, the blog allows you to write longer stories to share with others. In addition, I think this will provide a great alternative for many anglers who do not like plotting trips on the map.

When you create your blog, there is a nice interface to change font styles, add bullets lists like so:

  • This is my first bulleted item
  • This is my second
  • so on and so on.

Smilies LaughingCoolSurprised

And of course you can add photos directly to your post.

Bigelow Hollow

I hope a lot of you start creating a blog to share with everyone. It will become another great tool for us to learn from each other.

Also, when I get more time I will be adding the ability to comment on each others blogs. It shouldn't take too long to implement, but I've just haven't gotten to it yet and my eyes or going blurry from looking at code all morning. Expect it soon though!

Tight lines,

Dave O
