With the temp at a decent high for the day. Water temps at 56 degrees. I called Bobct and we hit Candlewood at sunrise. No wind yet, but drizzle and fog were there. Hit a couple of places that produced for Bob on Firday, but only one 2lber for us on Saturday. Worked silverbuddys, swimbaits, shakeyheads and flaphogs. Wind picked up at about 10, so we called it at 12. Last time out for me this 09 season. Hope 2010 is better.

hey i know this isnt the right spot but i went to west will pond today and i started to beat the banks with a little jointed rapala and ended up getting a little brook trout, and a kokanee salmon. it really reminded me of fishing for bass earlier in the season but it worked pretty well. what im trying to say is that it might be too early to give up for the year. i even got a little largemouth on a dropshot in deeper water.

It may not be the end to the bite. But I don't like to feel cold hands when I fish. When youe over 50, things hurt more all over in the cold. Smile
