Well done squirt, I have used the slip bobber technique in the past but use it only about once a year so a good refresher for me, thanks

I have never used a slip bobber before. What is the benefit? What makes it different from a regular bobber? I don’t really ever use bobbers it’s all a little foreign to me.

the reason we use slip bobbers is so we can fish at all depths if you watch the video, i believe i say that i set the bobber stop for the depth we want when we get there. We fish for walleye and trout ONLY. The slip float/bobber lets you adjust the bobber stop to fish at different depths one minute you can be very deep the next just by moving the bobber stop and we can be set at five feet. depend where the fish are. I was fishing very low in the morning the other day for walleye nothing so i thought id bring it up a few feet boom smallies and crappies....... you can do it with a regular bobber but its not worth the hassel....
