We got on the water at 8:30. Water temp. was 38 and a slight breeze. We chose this lake due to a tourny we have next weekend. Caught a 3 1/2lber the first 20 mins. out on a jig, and then a couple of missed hits through out the day. Wind picked up so all the gear came on . Great to be back on the water after 5 months. 
Must have been a shocker 
. You know..... I'm 47 years old and been fishin' New England since I could walk, but the name of some of these fishin' spots on here and other sites....never heard of 'em. Feelin' kinda dumb at times. 
Well still, young and look forward to finding all these spots talked about.
