| Dumb question, but has anyone ever fished from shore at the Gold star boat ramp? I know I have a boat and should just put it in, but I'm not very comfortable to use a boat in the dark under those conditions. The wife was talking about go surf casting tonight. Any thoughts?? |

Hertzy, if the gold star is the 95 bride in Groton, the Groton side launch has a little area you can fish from, be aware it is not exactly the safest place to fish.
There is also a public board walk I will call it in Old Saybrook that is used for fishing, I have never been and don't know any details other than it exist. |
