I enjoy fishing in the evening and night but most pond and lakes are closed at night. How do I find a list of ponds and lakes that I can fish at night, the angler guide doesn't show this, so most of the time I end up at Mansfield hollow. I want to find other places to go preferably closer to Vernon.
most of the ponds/lakes here in the north east signs do say closed at sunset except for fishing. You mite want to double check. If you go to the DEP web site and look though the boat ramps, they will tell you the hours of the ramps. I know there are a few state parks that do close their gates at sunset, but most do not. I would spend some time looking at the DEP web site. Good luck friend.
