Wepawaug River?

Does anyone know what sort of fish I can expect to find in the Wepawaug River? Specifically the bits in and around Eisenhower Park, since the entire river is pretty long.

The DEP has it listed as a trout stream, but I've never fished for trout before and wouldn't know a good trout river if I fell in one. So any help you can give would be great.
