I live out of the country and traveling to CT next month (mid May) to visit my son at school. I am looking for a place to stay on, or near, great fishing, with hopes of spending a long weekend with my son fishing.
He is near Watertown, CT. If possible I would like one day of stipe bass fising in the sound and several days of lake/stream fishing.

Hi Bill...I'm not from that area myself, Bantam lake is not to far from Watertown, then a little further west you have Candlewood lake which is very large and offers excellent fishing.
You may want to try using the "Map View" tab here on the site that should give you an idea of what's around Watertown. Same thing for the saltwater fishing you want to do. Maybe someone from that area can be a little more helpful. Enjoy your stay and let us know how you did.
