Hit Pootatuck River at 8:00 at the Fabric Firehose Landed two small browns and a brook about 8". Later tried the Catch and Release Area catching 3 nice native browns with one being about 14" and fat in only a matter of minutes. Many got washed down after that hard rain that we just had and their are plenty of trout back there. Also tried Naugatuck River in the Thomaston sectio which I never tried before. I lost some smallmouths but landed a nice 14" rainbow. Not much action in this area but it was still a nice section of the river.  |
