Most Connecticut Streams and Rivers are expected to be at or close to optimum levels and flows for Opening day on Saturday April 18th.
Anglers seeking trout should still fish deep and slow due to the cold water temperatures.

great advise flyangler,20 years ago i would have laughed at leave the booze at home,now i am 100% with you,it should be left at home for relaxing and telling stories
happy to say all the rivers in my area are just about normal
