Skunked on the CT river at the Essex town dock. 12" stripers hit my worms as soon as they were on the bottom. I shouldn't have been lazy and settled for night crawlers while I was at wallymart and walked the 50 yards to get some chicken liver. Anyone fish for cats?

We catch them often as by catch while drifting live eels for stripers.
Not every time but enough...location is a big factor for cats

Its usually a good spot for me. While trying not to be a smart ass, i'll bare in mind that location is important while fishing.... How big do you come across them out on the river with eels?

I realized after I typed that it was a pretty lame comment since that holds true with any fish Wink I let it roll anyways.
One thing that surpises me about some of them we catch we catch in shallow fast moving water.
Nothing huge 10 pounds or so.
