Fished the CT River for 45mins. before work today. Had 1 pike follow my fin-s to shore so I stoped reeling and bounced it off bottom a few times and the pike hit with only 3' of line out. I didn't get a good hook set but it was fun for a few seconds. Not bad for February open water fishing.
Nice way to start the day.
