We hit the river at 5:00 and made a run for the beakwater. Three drifts and only one strike on a sluggo, so we rigged up the tube&worms and headed up river. Got a hit at just below and above the Dock&Dine area, again no hook ups just missing worms. Tried chunking near the DEP dock after seeing some nice fish on the finder. Lost two rigs in a half hour so back to North Cove to fluke. Ebb tide started at 1:30 and finally got two fluke, one was short. I did throw the crab pot at the cove for six hours and not one crab. We beat the skunk, but not much better. I'll be back next week.
