Worked half a day and then headed for the local harbor by 12. SW winds make it hell to launch a boat from Lighthouse Point. Headed out to the outer breakwaters to drift for fluke as advised by the guys at the bait shop. Made four drifts with no hits , so headed in to look for bait fish. I did find some fish down by the Amistad dock as in the past. Trolled everything but no hits, and no baitfish around. My only catch of the day, was a pair of boxer shorts.  Skates are looking good about now. |
