Very cold and windy so we stuck close to shore (Branford, CT). Got 5 togs, 2 of which were keepers at 4 - 5 lbs. Greenies worked better than asians. Saw some Gannets but no seals.

If you are fishing in brackish water, grass shrimp are good. I've caught a few sea runs on red/white daredevils. Live minnows/shiners will work. Night crawlers are an old favorite.

Rivers End in Saybrook or Dee's in New Haven.

There are no "Big Effin Trout" in the Atlantic Ocean between Newport and Montauk. Yes, Blue Fin Tuna.

There are reports from all over that the BFT are all over the place from Newport to PT Judith to Montauk NOW. As in NOW! They have been seen leaping out of the water and feeding on big schools of mack ...
