Wangunbaug (Coventry) Lake

Carp13 and I went to Coventry Lake to bass fish on Sunday morning. Water temp was 55 degrees, blue bird sky, with a light wind coming from the west. We started across from the launch a little to the west on some rocks. I tided on a hand poured tube in green pumpkin copper flake made by Cobra Baits (www.cobrabait.com) we did nothing of the rocks and move to the south side of the island, no fish. We moved to the point next to the north end of the island I caught 3 small bass, 2 rock bass and 1 bluegill. we moved to the rock pile at patriots park no fish, the wind had picked up so we drifted in front of the launch, I switched rods to one with a rattle trap and caught 2 nice brown trout, Carp13 caught a pickerel. We called it a day.
