I caught my first salmon opening day at Crystal Lake trolling for trout. It was 6 and a 1/4 pounds. I should take a tip back.

I also wear prescription glass, I bought a pair of Cacoons from Cabella's they worked great they cover more of your eyes and they cut the glare real well. Bad news I lost them.

I use a 1/2 oz jig for a weight on my drop shot rig for bass works good. Don't tell anyone.

A friend went out on the Farmington River between the CT and Loomis pool, they got 7 shad, 2 salmon, a striper and a elwife.

I had one scheduled last year there was going to be a good turn out but they closed the site. This year is a definite.
