Caught my first Bass when I was 8, (Picture in Profile) with my dad.

I was in Lowell, Massachusetts fishing with my grandfather and caught a 15 lb Carp and I was young at the time and did not know the first thing about fishing. Well long story short, the carp was putting up a fight and my grandfather watched as I struggled to reel it in and the two men out on a fishing boat were also watching and asked if my grandfather was going to help me, his response was "Nope, gonna let her reel it in herself." Well after a struggle for 10 minutes with it, it pulled me into the water, so I reeled it in as close as I could, then jumped in the water and grabbed the line and brought the fish in by hand. I never saw my grandfather laugh as hard a he did that day!
