On 6/2/07 we drove and parked in the lot about 8:00 PM under the bridge. A lot of fishermen there on the innerbay and beach side. I fished with lures a large silver blue Rapala type and a soft shad storm lure. I positioned myself north of the bridge and made many casts on the incoming tide about and hour before high tide. No hits, no fish and skunked. It was good to see so many fishermen out and all the charter traffic going into the inner bay. I spoke to several fishermen on land and they caught the skunk also. The area is good for fluke during the day on the outgoing tide.and blues chasing bait in the morning at the rivers mouth.
