Hooked up with BlooMagoo to fish the lower swift by boat ...It was nice to learn fly fishing tactics from him that I can apply to spin fishing with small jigs ... Hope I didn't scare him away with my stories and he returns to fish with me again in the future . The trout were finicky and fishing was slow . Together we boated about 7 to 8 fish with the largest being a pickerel on the fly rod .. Some of the other things that we had seen is a different story for a different day... Just sad to see them..

Found Several School's of Brook trout from 6 to 12 inches.

Fishing some favorite holes on the Swift River.
Didn't HAVE time to take the boat. Took a couple rods and went to hit the sweet spots.
First spot one hit no fish . Second spot not a hit . Moved to my favorite corner a caught a Really nice Brook Trout on a Mealworm colored Trout Magnet . This fish hit hard and fast . Caught a Rainbow a little later .Only two fish . Both around 2 lbs

Went to the Swift an fished several areas today. Caught several Browns one about 16 but the best was the Last one .. 18+ Rainbow
