Well, I was born in Watertown, NY. I have loved fishing since the first time my dad took me on a lake some of you may have heard of Lake Chaplain. We were stationed at Plattsburgh AFB and could see the lake through the trees in the backyard..Never really new how good I had it i guess. Now that im in Missouri ive found that there is fun to be had fishing lakes and near by ponds and streams..

Fishing Rods
I have been using a pretty standard crappie rod from bass pro not sure of the model name but, they are a copper/brown color and work great.
Fishing Reels
Same old song nothing special I love shimano as well as some models of Quantam. I was checking out bigcrappiecoble's new Pleguer, excuse the spelling and am thinking I may own one soon..
Fishing Techniques
Well, depending on the time of year for instance right now obviously i've slowed everything down and prefer to vertical jig. When spring gets underway technique in my opinion goes out the window during the spawn the crappie will hit just about anything and they are up shallow. Then the dog days of summer it varies they may be deep and then go back to spring pattern all depends on water temp. and water levels which play more of a role on truman being controled by Truman Dam and the core of engineers.

"I wasn't being humorous in the least when I compared plans for the next trip out on the water and the weather. I am hopefully revising the trip time and date for the last time..lol..Our 1/17/13 crappie fix trip has been moved back to original date of 1/16/13 and believe we are meeting at the same time and place..Unless somthing happens between now and tomorow morning its on..

"Well its safe to say that the weather isnt the only thing subject to change" Fishing trips and the reaction of our wives to those three little words "Im Going Fishing" also go on this list, hence why the 1/16/13 trip has been postponed to 1/17/13 so wisper those three words in your wifes ear and if you live...Ill see you on the water..
