Went to spy pond this morning in the kayak. After pretty much throwing my whole tackle box without any luck, I tied on a lake fork magic shad with a boot tail. I casted short from shore just to check the action not expecting to catch anything i felt the pull and set the hook. Landed this bass with a messed up eye and weired spots on it.

Freshly stocked brookies and browns, at the ipswich river in north reading. I got there at 0600 started off by drifting some worms with the current. I didnt have luck with that so i tied on a joes fly and with the first cast caught a brown. got two 12 in browns for only being there for a hour not bad.

Went out to mills pond in burlington aka the burlington res. got there at 5am still dark and a little chilly. Started off with a hula popper by a weeded area second cast had a monster hooked, almost landed it but took a leap and spit the lure out usally doesnt happen with treble hooks. Walked around the pond some more to a spot i had success at before when the waters real low you can cross to and island with some nice drop offs and rocks put on a chartruse and white chatter bait casted out and reeled then bam fish on great fight dont know the weight but nice fish. the rest of the day caught a couple 2 lbers all in all nicetwo hrs of fishing the first fish that got off is gonna haunt me but i made up for it
