Comment: this lake is loaded with fish, alls you need is a hook, a yamamoto and rig it wacky, on average i catch about 7 bass every time i fish it, the fish aren't huge but they sure do bite, live minnows work great for catfish at this lake as well

Comment: Thanks for the advice. I spent a week there (8-18-07 to 8-25-07) and did well finding the smallmouth and largemouth bass. They also seemed to congregate on the drop-offs near the flats on the north and northeast side of the lake.

Comment: Nice lake with lots of structure. You'll be tempted to fish the docks but stay away! All the bigger fish are in the middle holding on structure. The lake is rumoed to have a 60' hole but in 35 years of fishing here, 50' was the deepest I found. A 5" 323 Yamamoto rigged wacky style works great. I also use 1/4 oz crawdad jigs with claw trailers. The later work great at night. Good luck!
